Sarah Gargano is a 27-year-old singer-songwriter born and raised in NYC, now based in Nashville. Sarah has been writing since she was fifteen and released her first EP in 2018. As detailed in American Songwriter, Sarah’s “highly melodic acoustic-based songs consistently feature insightful and introspective lyrics that often tackle unusual subjects.”
Sarah recorded a 14-song Midwest Emo inspired album as a side project under the artist name 'Paper Girl'. The first single ‘Roll With The Punches’ was released on September 26th and the full album will be out in 2026 — stay tuned! Sarah will also be releasing a side-project under a different name at the end of 2025: a 12-song Midwest Emo album. Ever since moving to Nashville, Sarah has been writing songs for many artists and their projects, such as the recent releases ‘Mirror Mirror’ by Gillian Krystal and ‘The Situation’ by Marionna.
A travel fanatic, Sarah has performed widely, opened for Jeffrey Lewis in Huddersfield, England and others in the US, played at Artville in Nashville, and continues to play gigs in many different cities. Outside of her music career, Sarah enjoys frolicking in flower fields, crying over fictional characters, arts-n-crafting, taking pictures, antique hunting, journaling, and eating cookie dough.
