Paper Girl is Sarah Gargano’s new Midwest emo/pop-punk inspired project that she recorded a 14-song album for — it is named after her college nickname and her first single (referencing the John Green book Paper Towns).

The project blends Midwest emo, indie rock, and pop-punk energy—taking cues from artists like The Front Bottoms, Modern Baseball, Diet Cig, and Blink-182 while carving out its own confessional, nostalgic sound.
